Be Thou an Example

Last night we had our Young Women New Beginnings program and it turned out great! This years Mutual theme comes from 1 Timothy 4:12; "Be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity". We focused our program on how living the Young Women values can help you to be an example. We assigned a value to 6 of our Young Women (and Sisters Hansen & Williams) and had them give a short presentation. We did the value presentations in separate classrooms that had been decorated with the corresponding color and had small groups cycle through each room. Then we met back in the chapel were Sister Williams gave a presentation of the new value, Virtue. Sister Eyre was given her Young Women medallion for completing the Personal Progress program as a leader and it was neat that her parents and sister could come. It was a really great night and I am grateful to serve in the Young Women's organization, we have such wonderful youth in our ward and I am blessed to serve with awesome leaders!
