Family Reunion Cruise!
This past week we got the opportunity to go on a Mexican Riviera cruise for a Saunders Family Reunion, thanks to the generosity (and hours of planning) of my Aunt Katie. There were 19 of us traveling and it is the first time that the whole family has been together in 10 years! We did miss my cousin Jenny and her family, she wasn't able to come because she is expecting a baby girl in February. It was great to see everyone again and for them to meet Dan and Macey. Except for a few minor glitches due to the difficulties of traveling with a toddler (who would have thought Macey could get even more clingy?), the trip was really great! The ship left from San Diego and we visited Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan and Cabo San Lucas. Macey loved running around and exploring the ship, climbing all of the stairs, watching the elevators and hiding behind the curtain in our room! We ate alot of good food (we heard that the average cruiser gains a pound a day!), went to the beach, shopped, saw a great magic show and Dan and I got to do a canopy adventure with zip lines & a rappel! Sorry for the lack of pictures, I will try to get some from other members of the family :-)

We celebrated our 7th anniversary on the last day of the cruise so during one of the formal dinners they brought us this cake and sang to us. By the way, that Happy Anniversary sign was chocolate! Yummy!
Our waiters tried very hard to make Macey happy! This is an origami fish that they made her, she also got an origami frog and a baby doll made out of a napkin.

Macey loved playing at the beach! This was at Mazatlan, we visited a prettier beach in Cabo but Macey didn't get to enjoy it because she was sleeping in her stroller :-(

So fun Liz! Glad Macey did well on the plane.... that's the hardest part to get past and you hope they do well. Atleast SD isn't a far flight (Coop's always done pretty well).
I love cruises! We are going to do one next Feb with the kids and some of my family!

I am so jealous Lizzy! It looks like you guys had a blast! In a few years we want to try a Disney cruise with the kids. I'll have to call you and get some tips & advice on cruisin' with the kiddies! Cute pics! :)
