1:00-4:00
So we had our first week of 1:00-4:00 church today and I have to say that I am not a fan! Before we had Macey I loved having later church because then I could sleep in but with a toddler it is a whole different story. Why you might ask, because that is right during nap time! I am sure that the fact the I was already stressed out about packing for our trip on Saturday probably didn't help my mindset for the day. It is also bad timing since Macey seems to be throwing a nursery strike, she loved nursery the first few weeks that I took her but the last couple of weeks she hasn't let me out of that room! Maybe it is my punishment for taking her to nursery before she was 18 months :-) Anyways, I feel really nervous about a whole year of Sundays like the one we had today so do any of you great mom's who have "been there, done that" have any advice for getting a toddler through naptime at church?

I agree! We weren't there and so we'll see how next week goes. I'm so not looking forward to it. Raegan has been the same way in nursery...what is the deal? Good luck next week!
I have 4 kids and still can't seem to get it right. Kam came home from church and fell asleep in the hallway at 6:30p.m. When I put her PJ's on her she was awake and ready to play again. Darn those cat naps.
Oh Liz I feel your pain! We just moved from 9-12. Not only is that early for 4 kids, but Sophie goes down for a nap at 10:00! What to do what to do.
I can relate to your plight! We just started 1-4 church too and I hate it! We sat around all morning waiting for it to start and then rushed to eat lunch then both my kids had mini break downs during sacrament meeting! I swear I'd become inactive if we didn't teach Primary! Good luck to you!
We never did solve that problem. Sometimes we would let him take a nap and skip sacrament:) Cute blog by the way.
Tis the trend! We have that time too, but haven't been yet. Cooper can go later sometimes or not need naps, but we'll see what happens. We have Sacrament last, so that makes things a little harder. We had friends who had a hard time last year because of the 11 time frame and their kids slept during that time. Some Sunday's we'd see them, some we wouldn't. You just go with the flow! Good Luck!!!
