Mother's Day Surprise!

We had a very fun Mother's Day! And there was an extra special gift for my Grandma Glory...a sweet little Bischon puppy! Grandma knew her daughters were getting her a dog but she hadn't seen it yet...and it was a big hit with everyone! She knew right away that she wanted to name the puppy Juddy (that is what she used to call her Grandpa).

Macey liked Juddy but was definitely a little bit nervous, especially if he was running after her. :) I think it will be good for Macey to be around a dog a little bit more often, hopefully she will get a little braver.

Avery loved Juddy and probably would have snuggled him to death if she could have had her way!

Our other Mother's Day happenings were good too. Macey got her second chance to sing in Sacrament and she did great! The Primary sang "God Gave us Families" and did sign language with it...it was a bit of a tearjerker! We also had a great dinner at Dave and Jolynn's house, although we missed the other Miles and the Selander's. I am looking forward to my Mother's Day gift...a weekend away with some of my girlfriends in a couple of weeks. I am so grateful for my amazing mom and mother-in-law! They are such awesome grandma's and they give our family so much support (and much needed baby-sitting!). We sure are blessed!
