The Big One!!!

Happy Birthday Avery!!! Since we thought two parties weren't quite enough for a one year old, Avery had another party on her birthday with our parents, my Grandma Glory and some of our great friends. While we were waiting for the party to start Keri took a family picture...I love how Avery is getting Macey in the second one :)

Avery was a lucky girl and got spoiled with a lot of fun presents. I am not sure who likes them more, Avery or Macey!

I found this cute butterfly cake, whoever came up with the cupcake/cake idea was a genius!

But I guess birthday parties bring out all kind of emotions :)

And of course...the cake!!

Avery is such a wonderful girl and we love having her in our family! She is so smiley and happy and people always comment on her dimples and her cute hair! She is really close to walking and pushes her toys while walking behind them all the time, she loves to clap and play peek-a-boo and when you ask her where her nose is she leans over to your hand and wants you to touch her nose for her :) Avery still has just two teeth and she loves eating! She also loves Macey and wants to do what she is doing all the time. She had her 12 month check-up last week and to my surprise she is even taller and skinnier than Macey was at the same age! She is 31 inches (95%), 18.8 pounds (20%) and her head is in the 60%. Macey was 29.9 inches and 19.8 pounds at one year...it looks like we have another skinny minnie with pants that are always a little to short :)
