I'll Take That Into Consideration

Macey is saying and doing so many funny things lately I wanted to take a minute a record some of them:

• Macey and I were out in the yard and she was talking in a robot voice (like Ian in Olivia) and I told her that she had a very good robot voice. She said "Thanks mom, I'll take that into consideration"!


• She loves the doctors kit that she got for Easter and when she is using the stethoscope she says "Let me listen with your heart". That is a line from one of the songs they have learned in Primary this year...she also loves Primary!


• Macey loves to say the prayer and lately her prayers have taken on a unique descriptive quality. She often lists everything we have done before bed or what she hopes we are going to do after dinner!


• She still loves school and had become quite fascinated with spelling. When she sees words around the house or on street signs she will often tell me the letters and then ask me what it spells. In the past week she has taken it a step further and started telling me how to spell things. She told me that you spell Grandma Chris "G-M-K-S" and that you spell movie "M-V-E". Pretty impressive!


• Last Wednesday my cousins Keri and Stacy told Macey to say "Peace out Dad" when Dan put her to bed that night. Well, it caught on and Macey says it to Dan all the time now...including a pretty loud one in Sacrament meeting.


• Macey loves eating snap peas (the kind in the pod), she calls them "peas in a pickle"!
