School's Out For Summer!

Thursday was Macey's last day of school! I have loved her toddler class and all of the great teachers. This picture is of Macey and Cassie one of the aides, when Macey was having a hard time adjusting to the class (and I was being a wimpy mom and not daring to leave her!) they assigned Cassie to be Macey's special helper so that she could form a relationship with her to help ease her anxiety about the new situation. It was great to see Macey get excited about going to school and we have rally seen an improvement in her since class started. We will miss it over the summer but are glad she gets to start pre-school in the fall. Some of Macey's favorite things at school were playing on the playground, playing with the color boxes and singing the welcome song during circle time.
