The Macey Report

I was very nervous about how Macey would adjust to the new house but just like with becoming a big sister she has surprised me and is doing great! The first few days were a little bit shaky, she seemed nervous to walk around the house by herself, and she did have a little trouble sleeping the first few nights (it didn't help that we couldn't find her nightlight) but overall it has been great. It was a big help that she was able to spend the night before the move and most of that Saturday with Grandma Miles so that when she came to the house it was at least semi put together and we had her room all ready for her (thanks Keri!). There are alot of cute kids in the neighborhood and she loves playing in the backyard. She gets herself hooked in to the baby swing and then can't get out so we look out the window to check on her and she is just sitting in the swing chillin out, sometimes she won't let me get her out for awhile :-) We had our first week in our new ward on Sunday and Macey surprised us again. She was a little nervous when we first walked in the new building but overall she did well in Sacrament meeting and she LOVED nursery! She walked right in and sat down with some play dough and didn't even look at us when we said goodbye and when we went to pick her up she cried because she didn't want to leave! Hopefully she continues to love it and it wasn't just beginners luck :-) Here are a few pictures of Macey doing one of her favorite things...eating waffles! I swear she asks for them at least three times a day! Maybe we should buy some stock in Eggo! By the way, the first picture is her idea of a picture smile :-)
