Matt and Kara's wedding was last Friday and it was a wonderful day! Kara looked gorgeous and it is so great to finally have Matt as a part of the family and not just an "un-uncle"! It is always such a wonderful experience to attend a sealing and be reminded of all of the wonderful promises of eternal marriage and families. Elder Zwick was able to preform the sealing (he sealed Dan and I as well) and the Spirit was so strong! I am so glad that Matt and Kara made the choice to start their lives together in the temple!
Macey and Avery didn't make it to the temple in time for pictures (Macey had been sick the night before and it threw our plans off a bit) but they made it for the lunch and Macey did much better than I expected for such a long and busy day! She loves running around with all of her cousins and Brooke is such a great help with her!
The reception was at Cactus and Tropicals. I had never been there before and it was a beautiful place. The kids especially loved all of the little water fountains. They served marble Slab ice cream that was delicious and Matt's U of U groom's cake was a big hit too :-)
It was a great (and long!) day and we are so happy for Matt and Kara! Congratulations you two, we love you!
If you are trying to figure out our blog's address, here is the story...When Macey was born we started calling her Macey Moo (which worked out well since my childhood nickname was Lizeroo). Her room is farm decor so we even made her a cow shelf. A few months ago we were talking to Dan's nephew Trevor about last names and he told us that our last name was Moo, as in Dan, Liz and Macey Moo!
