Party Time!

This year Julie and I decided that we would take the "friend birthday party" plunge and throw a joint party for Macey and Trevor. Unfortunately Trevor got sick and missed it :-( But Julie still did an incredible job helping me get things together and for my first foray into birthday parties I think it went pretty well. I recruited my mom to come help and the other mom's hung out as well so we didn't get too overrun with three year olds! We had the party at the park so the kids had alot of fun playing on the playground. We also played a bean bag toss, pin the flowers on Ariel, decorated candy sacks and had a pinata. As a note for future birthday parties, the kids loved the pinata but none of them were strong enough to break it. We had to call in Holli as our designated hitter to break it open after all of the kids had a turn :-)

Avery slept through the whole party!

This picture is a little bit of a cheater...it was too windy to get the candles to stay lit so we just told Macey to blow for a good photo op :-)

Macey was much to interested in the cake to care much about her presents but she got some great stuff...thanks everybody!
