Under Contract!!!

Over the weekend we finally got the decision making and negotiating over with and are now under contract on this cute house!!

We love it and are so excited! When we started looking for houses we were so sure that we wanted a rambler, but none of the ramblers that we saw felt right to us. So we open our minds to some other possibilities and found this darling cape-cod that has been remodeled inside with a great open floor plan which was one of my biggest "wish-list" items. I feel in love with the idea of a two story a little quicker than Dan did but after a second look, some number crunching (it will be very affordable for us) and some compromises (a new TV and finishing the basement ASAP) he was on board. The house backs a great park and they have a darling swingset that they are leaving in the yard that Macey will love! It has been a little stressful trying to get things finalized on the sale of our house, buying this house all while being days away from having a baby, not to mention Kara and Matt also planning their wedding! But I think everything is going to work out smoothly and I can finally have a real garbage can to call my own :-)
