Egg-celent!!!

We had a very fun filled Easter weekend! Macey hasn't quite gotten the whole Easter thing yet but it makes holidays more exciting when you are introducing them to kids, and I am sure next year she will love it!!! On Friday night we decorated Easter eggs, Macey was mostly interested in the Sesame Street stickers that I had given her to put on the eggs but she did drop two eggs into the color cups (and a couple on the floor).
On Saturday we had a busy day with Camden's birthday party in the morning and the Miles Easter party at night (see next post). Macey is so funny with Camden, she loves to pet his hair and follows him around saying "Cam, Cam"!
Sunday morning we decided to forgo the hiding of our eggs since Macey had shown no interest in egg hunts earlier in the week. We thought we would just give her the fun Easter basket but she was much more interested in playing with her church shoes than any of her new stuff! I hope that she is always that easy to please :-) We did get her interested in one of her new flower cars and she liked looking at her new "Beautiful Savior" book during Sacrament. Here are some pictures in her cute Easter dress, sorry that they are so similar but I love all of her different faces!

On Sunday night we had a yummy ham dinner at my Mom and Dad's to round out the holiday. It was great to see my Grandma Saunders and Macey entertained us with her actions to "Pop-corn Popping" and "Once there was a Snowman".
I am so grateful for the Easter season and the opportunity it gives us to reflect on our Savior and all that He did for us. I know that we will all be able to love again because of His sacrifice for us. What an amazing blessing!

What a cutie. I have decided there is never such thing as too many pictures.
