Pillow Talk

At the end of January our ward did an enrichment night where we made these darling pillows. We got the materials from a mother-daughter business and they made the project so easy! All of the fabric on the front was already pieced together and they provided the string for the stitching with the pattern. They had a ton of cute designs to choose from, especially for the different holidays. There was one that I want to make for Macey's room that had a picture of the temple and it said "I'm going there some day". Well, I finished the stitching pretty quickly but as you might know I am slightly sewing impaired, I have been known to use a stapler to mend things for a quick fix :-) Thankfully I know people who do have sewing skills (and sewing machines). My friend Julie helped me to sew the back fabric on, stuff the pillow and hand sew the opening (don't look to closely at that part), and Viola! I think that I turned out really well and it goes really cute with our bedding.
