The Dr. Is In

Macey had her kindergarten check-up a couple of weeks ago.  She was a little nervous about the shots (3 of them!) but thought the eye test was really neat.  Dr. Johnson was so impressed with her and how much progress she has made.  It was really great for me to hear, sometimes I get caught up in the day to day struggles and forget what a LONG way she has come from when she was diagnosed.  She is amazing!  My favorite part of the appointment was near the end when the doctor was writing down the name of some weird spots Macey has on her legs and she said "Oh, is that my diagnosis?"  He looked at me in totally shock and said "Did she just say Is that my diagnosis?'.  It was pretty funny, I guess all of that Doc McStuffins is paying off!  He was also very impressed with her reading and still amazed at the size of her tonsils!
Her stats were height 44.5 inches (85%) and weight 40 lbs. (50%) so she is starting to even out a bit in weight...which we are glad about because it is easier to find her pants that fit :)
She is really turning into a big kid...next stop kindergarten!
