Kids brains are little sponges...especially Macey's! For her scripture time before bed we are reading the Book of Mormon reader and it amazes me the things that she remembers and understands...even when it seems like she isn't paying attention.
A week or so ago we were reading in Alma about the wars and one day I heard Macey playing in the family room by herself...she was pretending to be Captain Moroni and Pahoran!
We recently read about Samuel the Lamanite and when Macey and I were playing outside yesterday she told me she needed to go on some missions, so we got in our ship (swingset) and when we arrived at the mission she got out and told the imaginary people to believe in God and repent. :)
On the way to Cameron's baptism last weekend Macey wanted to know if the people watching would be standing on the shore...I guess she is used to the Waters of Mormon type baptisms :)
In our reading last night Jesus was visiting the Nephites and Macey wanted to know if Jesus would ever visit us so we got talking a little about the Second Coming. Well Macey was not very satisfied with the answer that we don't really know when it will happen (so shocking if you know Macey right?) and so when she said her prayer that night she kept it short and sweet, only asking Heavenly Father to let her know the answer!
I am so amazed at how much kids understand and how much pure faith they have! I am constantly learning from my girls and am so grateful for their example!
