On the Fourth of July we got to be in a parade! Grandma Nichols was being featured in the East Millcreek parade and some of Dan's family got us all organized to march with her. It was neat to have almost all of Dans family together and it was a really special day for Grandma Nichols. We decked the stroller and Macey's bike out in some stars and stripes decorations got them all dolled up in their red, white and blue...I will take any excuse to buy them cute clothes :) And at the end of the parade we saw Ariel, Belle and Rapunzel! Definitely a highlight for our princess loving girls.
We definitely learned a few lessons that will make any future parades more successful...bring LOTS of candy to throw and don't let your new bike rider (we are talking about a week) ride her bike. Especially if the parade route is downhill :) Now when the girls "play" parade around the house they will know what it is like to do the real thing!
