Dan's company had their summer party at Lagoon this year and we had a blast! Free parking, tickets and food is definitely the way to do Lagoon (especially when you never leave the kiddie land), thanks Inthinc! The girls had a great time and Macey used the trip to polish up her picture posing skills :)
Macey loved almost every ride in the kiddie-land, although she had a nervous look on many the first time she rode. Avery liked the cars, boats, and the carousel. She thought she wanted to try a lot of the other rides with Macey but changed her mind as soon as we got her buckled in :) At least she had fun watching her big sister and with the rides all so close together she could do her favorites while Macey was close by on something else.
Their was a face painting booth in kiddie-land and it didn't take long before Macey saw the fancy potential...she was a Heart Princess and Avery got a little ladybug.
The party was on the same day as our stake Lagoon day so we ran into a few friends. Macey was excited to go on a couple of rides with Brooklyn.
At the end of the day, after about five pleas of "just one very last ride?", Macey decided to try her luck on the Tidal Wave...she was not a fan! We were surprised that she wanted to try it because she didn't like it last year either...I think the lure of a giant pirate ship is just too much to resist!

how fun! Avery has grown up so fast. Seems like yesterday you had her and I came to visit you, times going by so fast.
