We started our Christmas celebrations off on Wednesday night with Christmas at my parents house with Grandma Saunders. Macey and Avery got lots of fun gifts, although like usual Avery was more interested in trying to eat everything, including the wrapping paper, to be to enthusiastic about the presents themselves. :-)
On Christmas Eve we had a yummy soup lunch at the Miles and our fun pizza dinner at Grandma's. It was fun to have our first two-child Christmas morning! We had to prod Macey a bit to get her out of bed but she was excited to see the presents that Santa left under the tree. She loved her Mickey Mouse friends and her dress-up trunk (she wore her new apron for most of the day).

Our next event was Christmas breakfast with my family and this year it was at our house! I was really excited to be able to host, when Dan and I were looking for houses I would always ask him it he thought each house had enough room to do my families Christmas morning! After breakfast we had a quick stop at Grandma Nichols and then headed to Dave and Jolynn's where the Christmas Cardigan made a triumphant return!
We ended our day with dinner at Grandma Glory's where Macey somehow found the energy to run around with all of her cousins again! Some of the Macey's favorite presents were her Fancy Nancy doll and books, her birthday party set, her potato heads, and the awesome doll house that she shares with Avery! Avery loved all the excitement and attention and thinks most of her toys taste pretty good! Thanks to all who spoiled us and our kids :-)Whew...maybe next year we can squeeze a few more hours into the day!
