We had a very fun Halloween week at our house! The holidays are getting more fun as Macey gets older and understands what is going on. She had an exciting week with parties at school and at dance, a neighborhood trunk-or-treat, trick-or-treating and a Halloween get together at Grandma and Grandpa Miles house. She loved her Minnie Mouse costume and she loved seeing other kids in costume...unless they had masks! We ran into a few masked kids while trick-or-treating and it made her really nervous. My favorite part of trick-or-treating with Macey was how excited she got when one of the houses handed out smarties! She wanted to stop right on their porch steps and eat them! We did a few fun Halloween activities at home; Macey loved decorating these pumpkin cookies...to bad they tasted gross! Note to self: don't buy they ready to decorate cookie kits at Target next year :-)
She also showed off her artistic skills by painting a pumpkins for her and Avery.
She definitely loved helping us with the pumpkin carving! She liked to use the little scoop and taking the lids on and off. She did get a little upset that she didn't get a turn with the knife...she will probably have that problem for a few more years!
If you are trying to figure out our blog's address, here is the story...When Macey was born we started calling her Macey Moo (which worked out well since my childhood nickname was Lizeroo). Her room is farm decor so we even made her a cow shelf. A few months ago we were talking to Dan's nephew Trevor about last names and he told us that our last name was Moo, as in Dan, Liz and Macey Moo!
