As always Macey wants to help with everything and I do think Avery enjoyed it when Macey helped feed her but we had to supervise carefully, Macey thought the spoon needed to go much farther into Avery's mouth :-)
We have tried to cereal a few more times since the first feeding and she is slowly starting to get the hang of it but I think it will be awhile before she gets excited about it. In other food news, Macey has added some new favorites to her menu; cinnamon toast crunch, toast, and the often requested ice cream cone! She is also starting to become a little chef :-) She loves helping me make dinner (she is definitely in a "helper" phase) and is especially interested in eggs. She thinks that everything I make should have eggs in it! It is fun having her help in the kitchen and it has resulted in her trying some foods she wouldn't try before (carrots, spinach) so it seems to be a good system. Maybe we will have to ask Santa for a pint size apron :-)

Well can you blame her for not liking rice cereal? Have you ever tasted it? Just like paste! My kids like to "help" in the kitchen too! I try to not be too annoyed! You are good mom Lizzy! We need to plan that game night! Talk to Keri!
aren't their reactions hysterical! ha ha. guess it tastes as yucky as it smells. its so fun to see how big your girls are getting!
