Toadally Awesome!

Today we spent the morning at the Utah Museum of Natural History and we had a great time. It was our second attempt to take Macey there, last time she threw a 30 minute tantrum on the lawn outside the museum and we never ended up going inside! So by comparison, this was an awesome trip :-) The museum has a special exhibit going on called Toadally Frogs that was really neat, we loved seeing the tiny frogs and all of the cool colored ones. As part of the frog exhibit they have a special "museum theatre" presentation with Hipper and Hopper (two people dressed as frogs) teaching kids about frogs and the need to take care of the environment and animal habitat's. I wasn't expecting Macey to enjoy it, it seemed a bit out of her patience range, but she loved it! She kept giggling and saying that they were funny :-) I hadn't been to the museum in a long time and was very impressed with it. They had alot of fun interactive stuff (although most of it was a little to old for Macey) and lucky for us it wasn't very crowded, always a plus!

"Hop to it"
Our little jumper loved hopping like a frog!

The cheesy smile!
Sitting pretty...in a footprint!

By a drilling display that had some Christensen Diamond stuff. I remember going to the museum on a field trip in elementary school and thinking I was pretty famous because my family was in a display!

P.S. Pretty weird that my camera changed dates during one day...

Are you related to Christensen Diamond? My grandma used to work there.

Fun! I don't think I've been there since elementary school. I should check it out!

Looks like you've done some really fun things this summer. I loved Macey's two year old pictures, she is so darling!
