Look of Terror!

On Friday night we had a BBQ at my parents house to celebrate the 24th of July. Grandma Glory and Grandma Saunders were both able to come and we had some awesome hamburgers! Dan and I bought a few fireworks to try out, we did come fireworks with our friends on the fourth and Macey just wasn't interested. Since it is only a twice-a-year thing, we decided to give it another go. When Dan was at the firework stand he specifically asked for fountains that DID NOT make alot of noise (no screamers) because we didn't want to freak Macey out. The guy selling the fireworks told him that the ones we bought were a 1 on a 1-5 scale, 2 being the loudest. Well, Macey was already having a bit of a tough night (we were on day 3 of no naps!) and she wasn't at all into the poppers that we tried before the real fireworks. She was standing across the yard from me (with my mom) when Dan lit the first firework...and I will never forget the look of terror on her face when it started making loud screaming noises!!! It wasn't just being startled, it was terror! It was so sad :( I don't know what that man thought that a 5 would sound like if this was a 1!!! She calmed down fairly fast so hopefully we haven't ruined fireworks for her forever!
