Beginners Luck?

We had some major excitement at our house last night...Macey peed in the potty! It is amazing how exciting bodily functions become when you are potty training :-) Macey got a potty for her birthday but I am definitely not starting hard core training yet, we have just been sitting on it while playing, watching Elmo's Potty Time and reading some potty books to get her used to it. Last night was the first time that she sat on the potty without her diaper and we were pretty surprised with the result! She didn't seem to get why we were so excited but that's OK :-) I know that there is a long road ahead and I am not expecting her to really be potty trained for a long while...I don't have the motivation to really go for it yet! But still...what an exciting moment, at least in a nerdy parent way!
