Off to a good start!

We got our week off to a great start yesterday with a busy Monday full of family fun! In the morning Macey got to take her first Memorial Day trip to the cemetery (it was a little early this year because Grandma Glory is having a hip replacement tomorrow). I have always loved going to the cemetery with my mom, aunts, cousins and grandma's, we have a few pictures of us as kids standing by the gravestones with our Cabbage Patch Kids :-) And of course the day always included lunch or an ice cream treat, this time we went to Hires-yummy! Macey was really fun and is getting good at saying peoples names, Grandma asked her if she could say Gloria and Macey said "Glory!"-what a cutie!

That night Macey and I met Dan downtown and we went to Temple Square for Family Home Evening. It was a really great night and it was fun to hear Macey say "temple" :-) We saw a neat video presentation in the north visitors center about Heavenly Father's plan for families, I am so grateful that I have an eternal family! What a blessing! I would definitely recommend seeing the presentation if you haven't all ready.
