We had a great long weekend over Memorial Day. On Saturday we took the girls to the Nicklecade! Ever since we went to Fiesta Fun in St. George, arcades have been a huge topic of conversation at our house so we decided to give the girls a treat. by some stroke of mad skill Avery got a 100 ticket jackpot on one of her games which gave the girls a lot of tacky prize options :) I think we came home with about 10 tiny toys...some of which broke later that day. We can't seem to convince Macey that it might be better to use all of the tickets for one good thing instead of a lot of other things! but we had a lot of (inexpensive) fun so I am sure we will be back.
On Sunday we drove up to Paradise with Grandma and Grandpa Miles and the Selander's. I was a little worried the girls wouldn't be excited to go, it is a pretty long ride, but I was pleasantly surprised when I told Macey about it and she said "yeah, last time I was there I saw my Great Grandpa"! The girls loved helping Grandpa with the flowers and playing with Matt :)
On Monday we went over to visit Grandpa Glory's grave too!
We also got the opportunity on Monday to join a lot of Dan's family in a 5k to benefit brain tumor research. We ran in honor of Aunt Margaret and it was a great time...even if it left us a little sore after :)
