Kindergarten ended with a bang! They manage to cram so much stuff into the last part of school it is almost overwhelming, but Macey loved it!! A few days before school was out the whole kindergarten had a field trip/field day at Wheeler Farm. I was able to go help and I loved it. The kids did field day games and things first (I was in charge of relay races) and then after they ate lunch they took a tour of the farm. One of the funniest parts of the day was watching Macey and one of her friends Hurley. They have kind of had a love hate relationship all year and she seems to alternate between telling me they are friends and telling me how mean he is. Today must have been a good day because they walked around holding hands a lot of the time :)
They day before the last day the kids also got to participate in the whole school's Field Day. Avery I and I both got to go help with that and Avery loved feeling like one of the big kids at school :) I had to get a picture of Macey on the last day...I still can't believe she is only a summer away from first grade! She has done amazing in kindergarten and we LOVED Mrs. Christensen!
To top off the excitement of the last day of school, Macey lost of tooth at recess and got to have a sleepover with Avery! Big stuff when you are 5!!
The Cabbage Patch Doll Macey has in the picture is one Granmda Glory let her choose from her collection. Avery has one too that she named Grandma Glory, too cute!
