I feel like my Thankful Thirty used up all of my blog energy so I didn't post about anything else in November! So here is a little catch-up :)

Avery is growing up so fast!! She is jabbering up a storm and loves pointing to Dan, Macey and I and saying our names. The cutest is when she points to herself and says "you!". She is inheriting her sisters love for TV and will bring me the remote and say "show". Some of her favorites are Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Special Agent Oso ("so"), Dora and Olivia ("ee-ya"). She loves to dance and has added some swaying and dancing feet to her signature knee dancing. Along with all of the fun parts of getting bigger she has also hit a major separation anxiety stage. She doesn't want to go to anyone but me (which has made nursery HARD) and she has stopped sleeping through the night. Here's to hoping this stage is quick!!!

We were able to spend some time at the condo with Grandma and Grandpa Miles and Matt and Kara. Macey and I had a blast playing in the snow and she is in love with her new snow hat! She also had fun playing with the Nativity and having Matt and Kara all to herself! She continues to crack us up with her funny sayings, here are a few to remember:
-She was telling me to make sure a whale didn't eat her when she was sleeping (a common dream) and she said "Last night a determined fish ate me".
-We were driving home from school and she said "McDonald's would be a great place for chicken and fries".
-She has started calling my parents Chris and Allen.
-She called me up to her room after bedtime last night when she was listening to her Playhouse Disney music and said "Nevermind Mom, it is just Darby I told myself".
-While we were at the condo she decided Matt's name was The Grouch!

We had a fun morning with Avery the Pirate Baby! It has amazed me how neat it is to see the relationship between Macey and Avery. I am so glad that they have each other :) This morning Macey went to the pantry to get a raspberry cream chocolate (one of her favorite treats) and saw that there were two left in the bag so she took one and gave the last one to Avery! So Sweet!
