Last year at this time I felt like our life was in a whirlwind. In the span of about two months we sold our house, bought a new house, Avery was born, Macey was diagnosed with Asperger's and we moved! Pretty crazy huh? I think I was just in survival mode for a long while, but as things are smoothing out and slowing down a little (life is never totally smooth) it is amazing to look back at things and see all of the blessings that have come our way.
We were so blessed to have Matt & Kara want to buy our town home (hopefully they are happy with the deal too!) and although I sometimes get jealous that they see my friends more than I do :) it was so great for us to move before Macey started her pre-school program and with the market the way it is it was a blessing for us to be able to move at all! Our new home, and especially our new neighborhood had been an incredible blessing as well. There are lots of little girls around Macey's age for her to play with and our next door neighbors have such a great friend for Mace, they are back and forth playing all the time and it has been great for Macey's social development.
Along the lines of Macey's Asperger's we can't believe how much progress she has made since her diagnosis...she is seriously like a different little girl! We have learned alot of patience and creative ways to get things done around our house and we are so grateful for the therapy and school programs Macey has benefited from. She is such a fun girl and it is so neat to she her having fun and doing so great!
And of course little Avery has been a smiling, giggly addition to our family who has made this past year wonderful! We had alot of blessings come out of last years whirlwind...but I hope we don't go through another whirlwind too soon :-)

Hi Liz! I can relate! I feel like our life is in whirlwind mode right now! We sold our house and are in the process of finding a new one while living with Kyle's family and being pregnant with baby boy #3! Life is crazy but I'm glad to see that you survived, which means that hopefully I will survive this too! :)
