Surprise!!

At the end of February I celebrated my 30th birthday, and I wasn't super excited about it :) I thought it would be great to just stay 29...but my friends and family got together to make the big 3-0 one to remember! A few days before my birthday Dan told me that he made plans to take me out and I was really looking forward to a date night. We had a yummy dinner at Cannella's and then dessert at a delicious little bakery downtown. I was stuffed, happy and ready to head home but as we were about to get on the freeway Dan told me he had somewhere else he wanted to take me but that I needed to be blindfolded! I was flabbergasted! I had no idea where we would be going ...seriously no idea. I could tell that we got off the freeway in Murray somewhere and then we seemed to be taking alot of turns and I had no idea where we were. Finally the car stopped and Dan helped me out, still blindfolded-I felt really stupid walking and trying not to run into anything (apparently I looked pretty stupid too!). I could see out of the bottom of the blindfold a bit and could tell we were going into someones house but I didn't recognize the floor. Once we were in Dan told me I could talk my blindfold off and I think I was in a bit of shock! Surprise!!!
My amazing friends threw me a surprise party! It has a cute movie theme and they even put together a movie slide show called "Lizzy-Thirty Years in the Making"! They also had the guests write a memory or note to me and put them together in a book. It was such a great night and I still can't believe how surprised I was! I didn't get pictures of everyone there (I think I am missing Lori, Kara, and Emily-if anyone else has pictures I would love them!). Also disregard my weird neck position in this picture, I was trying this "look over a cliff thing" Stacy said would eliminate double chins...apparently it just makes you look geeky :)
Slightly weird shot of these four...

The awesome movie decorations and treats!
Thanks again everyone, it was a night to remember!!

Such a fun night! I think we should plan a "movie themed" party for all get togethers in the future :)
Plus I am still bummed that I didn't win the "Lizzy" quiz *sigh*
Love you!
