According to Ave...

I can't believe our baby Avery is almost three!  But she is definitely making the most of her last month as a "terrible two"...how a child can be so sweet one minute and so frustrating the next is one of the great mysteries of motherhood!!  One silly thing about Avery is how much she loves wearing her coat, most days she leaves it on all day and will only take it off when we put her jammies on.  Hopefully she will not go through coat withdrawal in the warmer weather!  Most of the time Avery is sweet, playful, smart and affectionate.  She loves her big sister and has inherited many of her big words and is talking up a storm!!  For example:

- When we ask her is she wants to go somewhere or do something she says "Sure I do!"
- When I tell her to do something she doesn't want to do she says "All right, all right, all right"...she is also getting a pretty sassy as she gets bigger!
- She is determined that she is going to stay a baby!  Whenever we tell her that she is becoming such a big girl she quickly corrects us that she is "just a baby".  She keeps telling us that she will be a big girl in "half an hour"!  She also thinks she is turning 100 at her birthday next month!
- She really wants to do anything Macey is doing and loves playing with "the girls" as she refers to Macey and her friends.
- She loves to say the prayer and the blessing on the food and she can do most of it by herself, often with her eyes covered by her hands :)
- She often tells us "I love you so so much" and that we are the best mommy/daddy/etc. ever!

Avery is so affectionate and loves to snuggle and gives hugs and kisses.  She also loves playing tag, hide and seek, riding her bike and playing pretend.  Lately some of their favorite games are Sonic and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
