This year we had a lot of fun with our Elf on the Shelf, Cat Elf. The girls loved coming downstairs in the morning and trying to be the first one to find him. Near the end of the month our elf must have started talking to some of his elf friends because he started to get a little tricky! He turned our pictures upside down, took a nap in our Barbie bed, and rode on a reindeer. His last night at our house before returning to the North Pole he pulled his best trick...he gave the girls red noses just like Rudolph!!

We kept up our Christmas Eve plan from last year and let the girls open their presents from us that morning. It helped them not get so overwhelmed and it is nice to get some of the credit that they usually give all to Santa! Macey got an MP3 player loaded with all of her favorite music, including oldies and Def Lepard and Avery got a baby doll in her own little car seat.

Later that day we went to Grandma and Grandpa Miles house for some yummy soup and then for dinner we headed to Grandma Glory's for our pizza feast. The girls got some really cute animal print vests at Grandma's and all of us girls were surprised with Hobo wallets! I love mine :)
We got home and left out some cookies that we had decorated earlier in the day along with some milk for the big guy, and we kept having t remind Macey that Santa wasn't going to come until she was asleep!
