Goodbye Preschool!

I cannot believe that my little girl is done with preschool!  I think I would like her to stay there a few more years :)  She has had such a wonderful experience in preschool and I just don't like the idea of her growing up!  Macey did both years of preschool in the district special needs preschool where she received speech therapy along with some help with her behavior and anxiety.  She has done so amazing and with the help of her awesome teachers has grown so much...she hardly even resembles the little girl that started two years ago!  We have been so grateful for the preschool program, Macey has loved her class both years and has made a lot of good friends among all of the kids (the class is made up of kids who have special needs and peer models).  Although I am a little nervous about her starting kindergarten (okay, a lot nervous!) I think she is ready for a regular classroom and she is definitely ready to learn!
Macey's class had an end of the year "Un-Birthday Party" and we got to go at the end for some popsicles and outside play.  We got pictures with Macey's four main teachers Miss LeighAnn, Miss Lindsay, Miss Ashley and Miss Pam but missed Miss Michelle (speech) and Miss Liz.

On the last day of school Avery got a real treat and was able to walk back to class with Macey and spend a little time in the classroom doing greeting time, making a fruit loop necklace (a.k.a. eating fruit loops) and watching some of a movie.  She was in heaven :)
