Feeling Sappy

I had a few sappy mom moments today.  I thought I better write them down so I don't forget them next time my girls drive me crazy :)  Lately I feel like Macey is a whole new little girl.  She has made so much progress with her anxiety and behavior struggles not to mention that she still hasn't asked for her binky back!!  I signed her up for a summer art class to keep her in the habit of "school" to help ease he transition to kindergarten and today was her first day.  I was nervous about how she would handle it since she hasn't met the teachers or seen the classroom and we weren't sure if her friend who she signed up with was going to be there today.  We talked a little about it last night so she would know what to expect and today she did amazing!  She wasn't nervous at all and when we got to the room she went right in and was fine with me and Ave leaving!  She is doing so great and I am so proud of her!
Also today I have been so grateful for the sweet relationship Macey and Avery share.  They spent a good chunk of the morning sitting together in Avery's rocking chair while Macey read Avery books.  And tonight we were at the McDonald's play place and they played like best friends.  There was a spot that Avery kept getting stuck and she was calling me for help, Macey went over and helped her instead and then Ave said "Macey help me!".  Later when Avery got better at climbing up herself Macey would cheer her on!  I am so glad they have each other and that I get to be their mom :)
