Monday Night at The Miles

Having regular Family Home Evening is definitely a challenge with our two silly girls! Macey is getting a better and more involved but Avery is still the source of a lot of bedlam :) But I am so grateful for the counsel from our Prophets to have FHE. It is so important, especially as our kids get older, to have time set apart as family time. And as parents we have such a great responsibility to teach our children the Gospel, it is amazing to see little nuggets start to sink into our girls minds and hearts. There are definitely weeks when we barley make it through the lessons amid tears and fights but there are other weeks when it is awesome! Recently we had a lesson about the Armor of God (inspired by a blog post years ago from Julie) and snapped these fun shots!

Avery loves to fold her arms for the prayer and is just starting to get the hang of closing her eyes.

Of course, Macey couldn't be outdone and wanted to show off her reverent praying...if only she was always really like this during prayers :)
