2012!!!!

I can't believe that it is 2012! I think if you did a search of most used phrases on my blog something along the lines of "I can't believe how fast time goes" would be right up there on the list. It is crazy to think that this year Macey will turn 5 and start kindergarten and my baby will turn 2! This year also marks our 10 year wedding anniversary and I am sure it has many other wonderful things in store for us.
We had a fun time ringing in the new year in Midway with Dave and Jolynn, Matt and Kara and the other Miles :) One of the funnest parts of the weekend was watching old movies that Dan had transferred to DVD. We loves seeing Kara's 6th birthday, Dan and Rob doing a guitar/singing duet of This Little Light of Mine and Lori directing the boys in their bike riding!
I didn't make any formal resolutions this year...it is such an overwhelming things to choose goals that you are going to stick with all year. One thing I always want to work on is living more in "the now" and enjoying everyday with my girls and Dan instead of worrying about or focusing on what is coming in the future. I always struggle with this but lately it has been particularly bad as my mind seems to be permanently stuck in our vacation to The Happiest Place on Earth! The problem is, we aren't leaving for about 6 weeks! But I just can't seem to stop worrying/stressing/planning every last detail to death. Some of it is due to my trying to make things go as smoothly as possible for Macey...but most of it is just because I am a freak :) So if you have any advice on how to enjoy the now pass it along!
