Forget Me Not

Tonight I got the opportunity to go to the General Relief Society Meeting with Jolynn and Kara. I love getting the chance to be in the conference center and to hear the talks live...it is a lot easier for me to pay attention :) A lot of the Relief Society Presidencies talks centered on the new book Daughters in My Kingdom which focuses on the history and work of Relief Society. I am currently reading the book in preparation for a lesson I am giving and I am really enjoying it! I loved the part of Sisters Becks talk where she said that visiting teaching was an "expression of discipleship and a significant way to honor covenants". My favorite part of the meeting was President Uchtdorf's talk about forget me not's! He gave a list of five things that we should never forget:

• Forget Not to be patient with yourself


• Forget Not that not all sacrifices are good sacrifices


• Forget Not to be happy now


• Forget Not the why of the Gospel


• Forget Not that Heavenly Father loves you!

What a great meeting!
