Avery is starting to follow in her book loving sisters footsteps. She loves books right now and I love it when she picks one up and backs into my lap for reading time! One of Avery's favorite reading spots is in the white wicker chair in the living room. I got this chair from my Grandma Saunders and it used to belong to her mom, my Great-Grandma Whipple and my dad remembers it being at her house when he was younger...pretty cool little tid-bit :)

As for this little girl, she is becoming an amazing reader! She can recognize (thanks to that memory) and sound out a ton of words and reads a verse of her scripture readers almost on her own every night! What a little smarty pants :)

I guess they come by book loving honestly because it is one of my favorite things! And I have read a few really great books lately:
-Crossing Stones by Helen Frost
-The Invisible Wall by Henry Bernstein
And I am currently reading A Red Herring Without Mustard which is the third novel in The Flavia de Luce Mysteries and I love all of them!
