Construction Zone

The finishing of the basement is going well, although I think it has proven that I am the most impatient person in the world :) Right now we (I mean Dan) are finishing up the painting and the workers have started tiling the bathroom. All that still needs to be done is to finish the bathroom, install the light fixtures and lay the carpet (I think). We decided to paint ourselves to save some money and I have to say I am not a fan...when they give you the estimate "painting" includes much more than you think but thankfully Dan is a trooper and we were able to borrow my parents paint sprayer so it could be worse! I haven't taken very many pictures of the progress but this is one of my favorites...
Here are the new stairs opening into the playroom

Macey has decided her favorite spot is the closet under the stairs which she has claimed as her clubhouse. She told Tammy that we are putting a "medium sized bed" in it for her :)

Only a little bit longer until we will have the "after" pictures...I hope!!
