One More Minute!

Lately one of Macey's most frequent sayings is "one more minute". She says it anytime I tell her it is time to do something, usually it is because it is something she doesn't want to do (clean up toys, go home from playing, etc.). But sometimes she says it at really funny times. When she says it she holds up her finger and thumb in a L and she is so cute (and I am such a sucker) that one more minute usually turns into at least 10 more minutes!
Today we were playing in the living room and Macey ran over behind the barstools, one of her favorite pooping spots. I asked her is she was pooping and she looked and me and said "one more minute"! I guess she didn't want to be rushed!
Macey is also very into the alphabet these days. My friend Keri made her an awesome alphabet quilt for a baby shower gift and a few weeks ago we started laying it out of the floor and pointing to the letters while we said the alphabet. Now it is one of Macey's favorite things to do, and she has gotten quite good at recognizing the different letters. Last week when we were getting ready to go to the football game Dan came down in his Utah shirt and Macey looked at it and said "U-T-A-H"! Maybe we have a future cheerleader on our hands!

I love when they start to say things like that and your just racking your brain trying to figure out how they learned that or how they know what it means. Little utes are trained from birth.
