In July we headed to Lagoon to take advantage of our Stake day discount. My mom came with us and we had a great day! The weather started out a little iffy and we got sprinkled on a bit but it cleared up pretty fast and by the end of the day it was roasting! The girls loved all of the rides in kiddieland and Macey got over her scardness from last year and claimed the Bombora as her favorite ride. I think she rode it 5 or 6 times. Avery rode it twice and was scared both time but she didn't want to be left out :) We had a tough time convincing Macey to try any new rides but the four of us, with our ponchos, did ride the Rattlesnake Rapids and the girls liked it. My next goal is to get Macey on The Bat. :)
Of course the face painting was a big hit!
One of my favorite parts of the day was when my mom and I went on Wicked! My mom hadn't been on it before and she was totally freaking out :) Another freak out from Avery was my least favorite part...she and I went on the Paratroopers (otherwise known as the umbrella's) and she cried the whole time. That ride is a lot faster than I remember!
Overall it was a great day!
