The fall soccer season is coming to a close, Macey's last game is tomorrow. She has had such a great time playing...and has especially loved having her dad as the coach! He has loved it too, but I think he has a new appreciation of keeping five years old focused :) This year our team jerseys are white and the team came up with the name White Lightening, unless you ask Macey who will tell you they are the White Lightening Rockstars (much fancier!). Here is a picture of her "rockstar" face!
Macey's friend Greta's team has purple jersey's and are called Purple Power, this posed a bit of a problem when Macey decided she wanted out team to be called White Power...thankfully we talked her out of it! Because everyone knows only one team can be called power :) Avery has loved "helping" with practice and has gotten into the habit of calling her dad Coach Dan at practice just like the other girls!
Jordyn and Macey were able to play together again which both girls loved! Not to mention it gave us an extra babysitter/helper at practice and quite possibly the biggest rec soccer cheering section ever!! I am so grateful for both sides of my awesome family who come out to show their support! The other girls were Gemma, Libby, Maddie, Lily and Brynn.
