On Thursday Macey lost her first tooth!! I can't believe how grown up she is getting! when she first told us last Saturday or Sunday that she had a loose tooth we thought it was all in her mind. She had been reading Fancy Nancy and the Too Loose Tooth and a Berenstein Bears book about loose teeth. But sure enough at church I gave it a wiggle and was surprised! She didn't want us to pull the tooth and when I told her it might take awhile for it to fall out on it's own she said :Don't worry Mom, I won't give up!". She later decided to let us try to pull it a few times but she always looked so nervous that we never got far. She finally wiggled it so much that it tipped over behind her other teeth and then we had to pull it out, but by then it came pretty easily. Greta and Maelie were over which made it even more exciting :)
She kept saying that she wanted to buy a teddy bear with the money the Tooth Fairy left her and our sweet Tooth Fairy was very generous!! But she also left a note saying that she left a little extra money since it was the first tooth! Macey was so excited and used her money that day at the Zoo to buy a cute polar bear (with a little help from Grandma). Now she goes around telling everyone about her "hole"!

What?!? I can't let my kids see this post! Your tooth fairy is much more generous than ours! :) She also beat Nick who hasn't lost a tooth yet! Yup I'll just keep this post under raps! But congrats to you! Your kids are getting so big. I'm just glad you haven't potty trained Avery yet! :)
